Alright, I made it to Beijing, I have been slacking on this blog thing, I am not quite sure how to
handle it yet, for now I will just be dumping pictures onto it. This is the view walking out of my new residence. I am staying with my friend Wenjie, she lives in a very chinese neighborhood, there are 16 tenement style building all clustered around a coal fired power plant that they get their heat from. At night you can hardly see to the end of the lane because the pollution is so bad.
